Mesons' Poppy is a fantasy-horror webcomic that features many individuals. However, the main ones are Poppy and their guide, a nameless four-legged animal. As Poppy traverses the nameless land that they find themselves in, Poppy begins to find things they never knew before. Bits of themselves, fragmented and scattered, almost hidden. MESONS' POPPY's topics deal with weirdcore, identity, and the unknown. Trigger+Content warnings include: Blood/gore, violence, death, and manipulative tendencies. Mesons' Poppy is featured in chapters 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9. It can be read seperately from Starstar, but key moments and context could be missed. Though not entirely crucial, MESONS' POPPY should be read alongside STAR STAR.
Star Star is the shadow series to Mesons' Poppy, featured in chapters 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10. It goes hand in hand with the story, but can be read without the context of STAR STAR, leaving little story bits up to mystery and without confusion. Starstar focuses on Tyler, and his friend Mason as he is taught to control his newfound Godly powers. It's not all easy, but Tyler believes he can do it, emotionally driven to be good at something and above those who despise him. Trigger+Content warnings include: Blood+gore, death, manipulative tendences, and the use of photorealistic assets to put together settings and convey feelings of strangeness and being out of place.
